For the 2026-2027 Season
NCFCA stands for the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association. It is a prominent, nationwide speech and debate league designed specifically for homeschooled high school students (ages 12 to 18). The organization's goal is to help Christian teenagers develop critical thinking and public speaking skills from a biblical worldview.
Our club will meet twice a month on Tuesdays to help students enhance their public speaking and critical thinking abilities through regular practice and mentorship. Our club has a strong focus on the Apologetics speech category.
Course Overview: Develops lifelong communication and advocacy skills by training students in effective rhetoric, active listening, and evidence-based reasoning.
Core Competencies: Students will master speech delivery (e.g., apologetics, extemporaneous, impromptu, oratory), research methodologies, logical structuring, and cross-examination techniques.
Tournament Preparation: Prepares students to participate in competition hosted by the NCFCA.
Real-World Application: Emphasizes confidence-building, quick thinking, and the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
15 Week High School course using NCFCA’s newly updated Team Policy Debate Curriculum.
